# StackChan MCP v0.3.0

StackChan MCP now provides voice access to existing Herdr agents: ask who needs
attention and send an explicit message to one existing idle recipient. Ticket
implementation stays with the recipient's existing ticket-workflow skill.

Breaking changes:

- Replace fixed ticket, project-discovery and Linear tools with
`dev_agents_status` and `dev_agent_message`; refresh MCP tool discovery.
- Retire manifest `resolve`/`start`/`finish` and `linear-store-api-key` commands.
- Replace `bridge --allow-dev-mutations` with `--allow-agent-messages`.
- Remove tmux and direct Linear credentials from runtime requirements. Setup
only stores the XiaoZhi URL; existing keys/worktrees/sessions are untouched.
- Run inside the intended existing Herdr session. Missing context or an
unavailable/incompatible server is an error, without session fallback.

The guarded bridge exposes status and ping by default. Agent messaging is
opt-in; web search stays local-only. Submissions are not acknowledgement or
completion. Blocked/busy/unknown/self/suspended recipients are refused.

Robot control, proactive notifications and collecting spoken replies remain
future work.

Module and download identity:

- Move the Go module and internal imports to `go.izoone.com/stackchan-mcp`.
  Install with `go install go.izoone.com/stackchan-mcp/cmd/stackchan-mcp@v0.3.0`.
- Use `https://get.izoone.com/stackchan-mcp/` for release downloads; the existing
native download address and historical artifacts remain available unchanged.
- Extend the existing protected publisher with checksummed standard Go module
info, manifest and ZIP files from committed source, plus a repairable catalog.
Public module downloads retain normal Go checksum verification.
- Module identity changes preserve runtime behavior. Source checks and an
isolated version/initialize/ping probe do not establish physical StackChan,
XiaoZhi, private audio or interactive Herdr qualification.
